COPS@Zebra and COPS@Zebra LITE systems warn of risks involving vulnerable road users – pedestrians and cyclists.
COPS road safety systems are a modular solution designed to improve safety at blind intersections, sharp bends, pedestrian crossings, and railway crossings.
Every day, 55 people die on European roads. This means that, on average, one life is lost in traffic accidents in the EU every 26 minutes.*
Most fatal traffic accidents occur on urban and rural roads.
Urban and rural roads have many intersections, entrances, pedestrian crossings, and merging points, which increases the likelihood of collisions. With the COPS system, we improve safety at critical points in road traffic.
On average, the number of traffic accidents on equipped road sections decreased by 80%.**
The modularity of the system allows for adaptability according to the specifics of each critical traffic point:
COPS systems enable fast installation, minimal construction work, and reliable real-time information.
Only a support pole and foundation are needed.
Faster and better decision-making on the road.
EN 12966-1, EN 50293, and Slovenian road traffic regulations.
More than 130 COPS road traffic systems have already been installed in Slovenia.
In 2014, we began cooperating with Zavarovalnica Triglav on the project Together for Greater Road Safety in Slovenia. As part of the project, through joint financing, we began equipping dangerous road sections across Slovenia with COPS@Road systems.
